Hey girls, whats up? How many carry a hand bag or a purse in here when you go to places? Whats your favorite brand of hand bag? And whats inside your hand bag, what do you usually bring with you when you go out?
i don't care about brand. i go for what i think is cute, a bit wacky, or something that just catches my eye. my favorite purse i owned was a bright canary yellow one. now adays i must admit that i've gone more practical and kind of had to leave the cute cool bags behind until i find the right one. i needed something easy to grab and toss over a shoulder since i am now carrying a diaper bag and savannah everywhere i go. half the time, the diaper bag is my purse.
as for what is in it. wallet, with money, cards, the usual, at least 2 things of chapstick, easier to find if there's more than one, excedrin, can't go anywhere without it, my contact stuff, nail clippers, tweezers, lotion, perfume, cell phone, hair brush, magnifying glass, extra pacifier, yeah can't really think of anything else.
Nathaniel's Pooh diaper bag is my purse. Wallet, cell phone, chapstick and maybe a hairbrush and hair scrunchy. I'm like a guy, I sometimes just grab my wallet and phone and shove them in my pocket. I hate anything that is confining or too much hassle. I've always been that way. Kinda tomboyish, I guess.

i have 5 purses now, and i'm saving up for a chanel, coach or Louis Vuitton bag
maybe all 3 one day when i've got the cash?
i alternate my purses depending on where i'm going, what i'm wearing and how much stuff i have which usually is isn't a lot
let's see: brush, lipgloss, phone, wallet, hand cream and sanitizer, gum, perfume..
rite now i have a rockaware bag it's like really big and it could fit my braille note plus everything else
then i got the other 4 which aren't brandname but still really nice, 2 are small, one medium and the other is about the size of the one i use a lot lately
one of the small one is like a black little leather one with a gold buckle that is a bit more dressy i guess and so is one of the medium ones which is like red and black, well it's not that dressy but i wear it if i'm going to the mall or movies or dinner or something, but i wore it to a party before too so yeah
the one i carry around is a big black one and it has the logo wich is pink and these clear gem stone things on it
the other big one i wore yesterday is black and baige and has this cool design and cool texture i can't really explain
the last small one is this denim Khaki kind of thing and has some blue in it that goes with everything, it's prob the simplist one but really nice still
sorry i'm purse crazy and i don't think i forgot anything, i hope, lol
and yeah their all leather except the last one and the Rocawear
my step mom has this white leather one i want so bad, she said she'll give it to me when she buys another one which i hope is soon lol
I have 2 over-the-shoulder purses. I don't pay attention to brands though, and only care that my purses are handy for what I want them for and will match with everything.
One purse is made of cloth and a fuzzy material, and has 3 smaller pockets on the outside: 2 zippered ones and a Velcroe one, and the largest pocket is large enough to hold the wide Braille paper. I use that one like if I'm going to go somewhere and could likely find myself with nothing to do for a long period of time, so besides my wallet and keys, I also carry a pen, a stylus, some paper, a plastic knife to cut the paper, a raised-line drawing board, a full-page slate, a print-writing frame, and sometimes some form of music player.
My other purse is smaller and is made of cloth and a leather-like material. The largest pocket is wide enough to hold 8 by 5 cards , and it has smaller pockets as well as a section for credit cards. I usually have my keys, my ID cards and debit card, a small slate and stylus, some 8 by 5 note cards, and the plastic knife.
Usually, though, I don't carry my purses and especially if I have pockets, I just take my wallet (which is a clear plastic pouch for cards), and my keys.
I alternate pursesdepending on how much a need to or feel like carrying. I have an organizer from purseket.com that can go in most large purses. But I usually always have my wallet, relevant cards, cell phone, keys, an mp3 player, extra batteries, and I wear my olympus ws100 around my neck.
I like leather purses. I carry my wallet with cards and money, cell phone, keys, chapstick, sometimes a small brush and body spray, my magnifier, and my VictorReader Stream with earbuds.
Oo! I collect the blimming things. Mostly leather, but a couple of furry suede bags plus a simply gorgeous but small, round beaded evening bag I got for Christmas with a chain shoulder strap. Which ever one takes my fancy on whatever day. When I have kids though, my diaper/changing bag and handbag will be two separate things, lol.

I have 4 purses, but I use them alternately. When I buy a purse, I look for the type that I can fit all my things, but still looks cute and fashionable at the same time. I usually bring my Prada bag, it has a coffee beige color tone to it, and a picture of an angel holding a bow. It has lots of intricate designs. The other one is a Chanel bag, its also a shoulder bag, color white, looks plain, and it has the logo of Chanel at the side. The other two, I don't use it all that much. I just got it as a present from my grand mother. Both are Juicy Couture, and are small. One is a leather bag, the color is light pink with a Juicy Couture logo at the center. The other bag is a light blue hand bag with a picture of a heart shaped strawberry and underneath the picture is a small logo. I like brand name bags, but I don't just buy whatever looks good, I also consider how well the bag could fit all my stuff. I usually bring my cellphone, my wallet, a small card holder that has all my debit card, college ID cards, library cards, and identification cards, a small lotion, perfume, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, lip stick, hair brush, a small compact mirror, nail cutter, a small pack of gum, a pen, a small notebook in case I have to write something.
I love purses! I don't care anything about brand names or whatever, though. It would take wayyyyy too long for me to go through all the ones I have and list them here, plus I'd probably run out of room. Lol. I like beads and fringe and such, and bright colors--anything that stands out. I don't like really big purses, like my mom's purses are always so huge because of all the stuff she carries and I can never borrow them, but I don't like clutch purses either. Too small. And I don't alternate that much, I find a purse I like and stick with it for quite a while.
The one I'm using now is really bright and lots of colors, sort of rainbow patterned. It doesn't have pictures or decorations or anything on it, but it's fun! Lol. I carry: wallet with all my cards and stuff, a change purse, a compact, lipstick and chapstick, gum, tissues, lotion, keys, slate and stylus, pens, cell phone, and random odds and ends that somehow find their way in there. Plus my cane is clipped to the side in one of those weird holster things which is just black leather.
omg there's this bag i reaallyy want that's pink, black and white and has this nice design with stones on it with all these pockets and the logo embroidered on the front in pink, and this big buckle..i wish i had enough cash cuz it's prada. and lol about random odds and ends, famous for that, i have a whole bunch of stuff i don't even need in my purses sometimes, other then stuff earlier i got pens, paper, my keys, lip chap then i have one of my little brother's toys for some reason. receits, peanut butter crackers, mirror, candy lol i forgot my mace, sanitary products lol, one of my brother's pacifiers and bibs, sometimes tissues, one of my neckalaces, my friend's lighter i forgot to give him back, and sometimes i cary adville..
and i want one of those cane holder things, lol
oh yes... ibuprofen is also a staple item. and your not alone on the crackers either; my heart medicine sometimes makes me nauseous so I usually do have a granola bar or some crackers in my purse. another interesting item that happens to be in there right now is a bottle cap on which my nephew drew a spider.
I am a Kate Spade addict. I confess. If I don't stop talking about Kate Spade purses soon, my husband will call the "Intervention" team on me :-). The thing is though, her purses are so well made, so practical, and at the same time so beautiful and elegant. Carrying one of them just gives my day that certain kind of emotional lift that comes from really, really beautiful things, and makes me feel just a little bit special.
I don't carry very many things regularly--basically my wallet, my keys, my cell phone, and a few odds and ends such as a tiny tin of Nivea, a box of TicTacs, a memory stick, and the like. Being a grad student and a mommy, the content of my purse changes a lot depending on what I'm doing, where I'm going, and who I have with me. Oh, and I don't use a diaper bag at all; I just don't see the point. I have bags I love that are perfectly large enough for a few spare diapers, wipes, and bottles, so why drag around an ugly bulky thing instead?
oh my gosh. i couldn't even begin to say how many purses i have. hehehe when we had our house built, or finished, they had someone to customize the walk in closets the way the buyer wanted it. lol i wanted lots of shelves for purses and shoes. the guy is like oh it will have five or so. . i'm like no that's not enough. he didn't believe me. lol he said you'll never use that may. hehehe he's eating his words, i'm way out of space and that's even witht the extra row they put in for me. hehehehe i'm such a girlie girl when it comes to shoes and purses and clothes in general i guess. i change my purses all the time. my fav is probably my baby phat one, or my marilyn monroe.
I don't carry a purse. I'm always afraid they are going to get lost or I leave it somewhere, and it's just one more thing I have to think about.
I have a couple of purses, but the one i use most often is made of denim. It has four pockets on the outside, (two with zippers, and two with velcroed flaps), and one zippered pocket in the inside, just enough to hold my three-by-five and four-by-six notecards, three slates, one stylus, all my identification cards, my wallet, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, and much more.
I just got two new purses yesterday. I didn't get a black leather one this time. I got a blue denim one and a cute pink one that I liked. They're just the right size for the stuff I want to have with me.
